Piero Campelli
Born: 20 December 1893, in Milan, Italy
Position: Goalkeeper
Piero Campelli set the record as the youngest goalkeeper
in his debut, when he was only 16 years old. He was nicknamed
as “nasone” (big nose). He invented the style
of parade saves by punching the ball with his fists. He also
played 11 matches in national team.
Roberto Fronte
Born: 9 March 1893, in Milan, Italy
Postion: Defender
Fronte was in in the group of the young players when Inter
entered the championship in 1909. When he enters the field,
he makes an immediate impact and writes his name in the history
of the victories. Fronte´s career ended soon and he
didn´t become a big player, besides winning lo scudetto.

Alfredo Zoller
Born: 1 January 1888, in Bengdorf, Switzerland
Position: Defender
Secures Inter´s first victory in championship. Story
tells that he was a powerful defender. Stays for another year
in Nerazzurri after Scudetto, but then leaves Italian football
and goes back to Switzerland.

Yenni
Born: ?? ? 18??, in Switzerland
Position: Defender
Participated in the scudetto winning squad in the first championship,
though his contribution is minimal. “Yenni” is
the exact transcription of his name, though it´s written
“Jenny” in some documents.
Virgilio Fossati I
Born: 12 September 1889, in Milano, Italia
Died: In the First World War
Position: Midfielder
Fossati is still remembered as the captain of the first scudetto
winning squad and the first Nerazzurro in national team. Sadly
he is also remembered, as he died in the First World War after
fighting heroically in the frontline.

Giovanni Capra
Born in: 18 June 1887, in Mercenasco (TO),
Italia
Position: Midfielder
He arrived from Switzerland in order to play a very important
role in winning the first scudetto. He made astonishing 12
goals in 13 matches. Next season he didn´t score at
all and after Inter couldn´t guarantee a fixed place
in the lineup he decided to move to Torino.

Carlo Payer I
Born: 4 June 1890 in Milano, Italia
Position: Midfielder
One of the protagonists in the shield winning squad. He survived
in the First World War, but still decided to hang up his boots.

Ernest Peterly I
Born: 1 January 189, Switzerland
Position: Midfielder
The Swiss goalscoring machine came from Bruhl. He scored
outstanding 25 goals in his first season, after that he fell
to a deeper role in midfield didn´t score so often.
After the war burst he returned to Bruhl.

Ermanno Aebi
Born: 22 November 1892 in Milano, Italia
Position: Attacker
Born in Milan, but had the Switzerland´s citizenship,
though he played also in the Azzurri. A true goal bomber.
Played with elegance and due to respect received a nickname
“Signorina” (Miss). After his fine career he continued
as a referee.

Schuler
Nationality: Switzerland
Not so much information on Schuler or “Schuller”.
