Piero Campelli
Born: 20 December 1893, in Milan, Italy
Position: Goalkeeper
Piero Campelli set the record as the youngest goalkeeper
in his debut, when he was only 16 years old. He was nicknamed
as “nasone” (big nose). He invented the style
of parade saves by punching the ball with his fists. He also
played 11 matches in national team.
Ermanno Aebi
Born: 22 November 1892 in Milano, Italia
Position: Attacker
Born in Milan, but had the Switzerland´s citizenship,
though he played also in the Azzurri. A true goal bomber.
Played with elegance and due to respect received a nickname
“Signorina” (Miss). After his fine career he continued
as a referee.

Giuseppe Asti
Born: 31 July 1891 in Milano, Italia
Postion: Attacker
He was found from Minerva (a third division team in Lombardy),
was a protagonist in nerazzurri for a while. He left Inter
and played two seasons in the Novese, but then he came back
to finish his career playing his last season in Inter.

Luigi Cevinini III
Born: 13 March in Milano, Italia
Position: Attacker
Luigi was the most famous of the five footballer brothers.
A fantastic forward, master on the field and an outstanding
dribbler. Still one of the all-time top scorers of Inter.He
was nicknamed as “Zizì” for his talkative
nature and his clever cheats.

Giuseppe Fossati
Born: 9 September 1894 in Milano, Italia
Position: Defender
Not so good as his older brother (Virgilio), though he still
honoured their family name. Missed one season due to injury,
but returned to the game after recovery.
Paolo Schleider
Born: 26 February 1891 in Milano, Italy
Position: Midfielder
He started his playing career in Firenze in Racing Libertas.
Then moved to Inter where he finished his career. He was a
protagonist in the midfield for 8 seasons.

Leopoldo Conti
Born in: 12 April 1901 in Milano, Italy
Position: Attacker
As a 18-year old youngster Inter paid 100 lire to get him
(it was a fortune in those times). He proved out to be worth
every lire. Technical with lots of character, wasn’t
called “Duce” for nothing. He won two scudetti
with Inter.Was disqualified for the season 1920/21.

Emilio Agradi
Born: 12 July 1895 in Bologna, Italy
Position: Midfielder
He came to A.C. Milanese in the age of 18, after one season
joined Inter, where he played until 1928, though played one
season in Modena in 1921/22. Finished his career in Cantù.
In the beginning he was a centreforward and was a prolific
scorer, later on played in midfield.

Alessandro Milesi
Born: 9 February 1897 in Milano, Italy
Position: Defender
Raised by Milan, with Inter proved to be a valuable player.
He was always ready when needed. Had a great career, which
lacked only a goal.

Alessandro Beltrame
Born: 12 August 1902 in Milano, Italy
Position: Defender
After the war, a young talented defender started his career.
Played three good seasons, but then perhaps due to a serious
injury was sidelined and afterwards didn’t play so much
anymore.

Gustavo Francesconi
Born: 20 October 1900 in Milano, Italy
Position: Defender
Was disqualified for the season 1920/21 (together with Leopoldo
Conti) because he was accused of professionalism (there was
a strict rule that footballers had to be amateurs). During
his suspension played in Padova, then returned to nerazzurri
and played two good seasons.
